Guest guest
I just doesn't work. Like all the macros i used to know, or the raw foodists. The better they ate, the more uptight they were about how they could have eaten better. Endless frustration!

Purity is such a two edged beguiling sword. Like Lust, its polar opposite, however much you get of it you want more. I've seen it all. More desire for purity more Stiffness and Duality. Self defeating really. Flexiblity and balance is so much the better way.
Guest guest
Real purity is balance. I think so anyway.

Guest guest
When I was a vegan, I was so PROUD of myself for being such a good boy. I really tried to push myself towards being macro as well, but my whole life ended up revolving around food: planning, cooking, going to the store, worrying about nutrients and so on. What a blow to the ol' ego when I found out a lot of the vegetarian/vegan propaganda I was dishing out was wrong! My yoga practice and my whole life improved when I went back to lacto-veggie. It was such a relief.
Guest guest
Yes but that is only you. I have been vegan many years.. and for my practise (i have practised astanga 5 yrs.) it´s -now- simply the best way. I live in finland, and if you drink cow´s milk here, you are far far away from ahimsa.
For me it´s very easy.. but ofcourse for begin takes time to come inside to veganism. After it´s normal like everything else. But i´m not saying that everybody should live like that.. no.. it´s my way. in veganism, i feel, is very good energy.
But understanding of energy, takes time.. after anykind of propakanda don´t effect you. For me that is a relief. peace!
