Guest guest
I have bookmarked them all. Many are from the UK, and some ingredients are unfamiliar, so maybe someone over there can tell me, please, what is "Beamish?"

With this amazing store of recipes, I am bound to find a great stuffed squash idea for TG, but does anyone have a favorite? Thanks in advance, I'd appreciate it. B
Guest guest
The "Beamish" that I've heard of in the UK is a kind of beer. It's an Irish stout, and my Irish colleague at the next desk says it's similar to Guinness but lighter, not quite as hoppy/bitter.

Am I right in thinking you are in or near Boston? If so, I seem to remember from my one and only ever weekend in Boston that the Brew Moon brewpub does quite a decent stout.

(Just when I thought I had retired from my position as consultant to the ashtanga community on European beers!)

Alan
Guest guest
In my vast array of culinary books I could not find what Beamish is, good luck. If you want great recipes, vege or not go to epicurious.com and you have access to Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines best recipes, it is a great site. Bon Appetit!
