Guest guest
I'm getting really tired of supportimg this point of view on this forum, so this will be my last post on the subject - much to the relief of many people.

Yoga is not an American creation - contrary to what many people think, nor was it deigned for Inuit indians.

If we decide to adapt yoga to our way of life without understanding - it may cease to be yoga, it may become some empty physical exercise.

Most of us are absolutely not in a position to overturn the age-old wisdom incorporated in the Indian teachings which state quite clearly that meat eating is not good for the purposes of yoga practice.

You will also find that 99% of people who have practiced "real yoga" consistently for a decent period of time will agree.

That does not mean that you are prohibited from practicing yoga if you eat meat, but it does mean you will not gain as much benefit as you would otherwise.

Now, what is the benefit and purpose of yoga? This is a much more interesting subject and may take us to the root of our differences of oppinion.
