Guest guest
well put muktiboy

Anyone that has held a little animal to their chest and felt its heat and bouncing heart...and missed how emotional and like human beings they are -apart from their bodies-, amazes me.
Well, as a child we had chickens and those little chicks were so scared and soft and a marvel of creation. Their dad the cock so bossy and protective. These are proper family dynamics folks!!!! These animals are alive, have emotional lives and fear death! I couldn't bear to see them harmed!

I think the error comes in packaged food where we no longer are personally involved in killing these beings- we are distanced from the process and are conditioned to it as food, rather than a form of life. Truly few of us would want to raise a chicken and then chase it down with a sharp object in hand. (A comical picture.) Especially after practice. Right?
