Guest guest Posted November 20, 2000 Report Share Posted November 20, 2000 Screwgee, you are confusing your multi-B yoga teachers, and you can be forgiven for that because it is confusing, so many busy Bs. Here is my attempt to clarify:

BB=Baron Baptiste=B2
HE has the "Baptiste Power Yoga" studio in Cambridge. (Also a studio in PA?) HIS classes are a melange of Astanga, Bikram's, and Iyengar, and, if I followed the thread correctly, the one you are asking about.

BBB=Beryl Bender Birch=B3
SHE wrote the book "Power Yoga," which introduced many folks here to Astanga although she is rabidly attacked in this space for not promoting the proper sequence and other Astanga crimes.

BBBBB: well, that's way B-yond me. Guest guest Posted November 20, 2000 Report Share Posted November 20, 2000 While B2 lists Philadelphia as one of his locations he neither owns nor directs the classes that are held at Mainline Health & Fitness in Bryn Mawr, PA. I would guess that he has some financial interest though since their classes are promoted using his name. The person who teaches there is Rhea Schlicter, however I don't have any firsthand knowledge of what her classes are like. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
