Hello to everybody,

just a little warning

to all my "sisters" who intend to come to Mysore in

the coming years.

There is a guy living here

who intends to stay for several years to study Yoga.

Unfortunatley I had to make his aquaintence because I was so

friendly to bring him some macrobiotic stuff from

overseas.
He shows all signs of an uncontrolled sexual

behaviour and won't accept an no (is it his brazilian

temperament? Is this the way Brazilian women like to be

approached?)I wouldn't know. I was able to avid the macho guy

in all these years.

He brought me in a very

uncomfortable situation and he was even raving about how far he

got me to his pals. my skirt was pretty easy to lift

(should we women wear something like that?)
I know I

should have kicked his balls instead I was overwhelmed

and tried to end this embarrassing situation in a

friendly manner.
Stupid!

So if any of you is

looking for an "passionate", aging, macrobiotic nut stop

by his house and make him happy with a package of

seaweed, miso or mu tea.

Namaste, Claudia

Thanks for the warning Claudia. I'm going to be

in Mysore on my own in feb 2000. I'm ok about

travelling on my own and genarally manage to repell any

unwanted attention but it is nice to have a little

forewarning.

It's funny how friends have warned me about lascivious

indian males, when quite often the hassle comes from

your own "fellow travellers".

Still I won't let

this spoil my trip, there are always hassels of all

sorts and you just have to be sensible and deal with

them, not all males are sex crazed wankers and I hope

to make some new friends of both sexes. I have also

read of a few reoprts of certain hotels where single

girls have been hassled by some of the proprietors, any

info on this topic would also be greatly

appreciated.

Thanks again

hope to run into you then, yogamummy. I'll

probably only be there for the first 2 weeks in Feb,

unless of course I decide to stay longer. My boyfriend

is distinctly worried that I may decide not to

return at all bless him.

Realistically, I don't

think I could stay all that long, despite all the

wonders the sub-continent has to offer, after a while the

craving for certain foodstuffs (ie. a decent cup of tea,

real toast and butter, fillet steak and chips....)

overwhelms me. However, those masala dosas are bloody tasty

and will keep me going for some time.

That's really funny zero, my husband has exactly

the same worries especially as my two boys (or should

I say all three, heh heh) are being really full-on

at the moment.

I'll be there all of Feb. -

unless I rip my hamstring a third time which seems to

happen every time I step up my practice....
