Guest guest
On the subject of post operative care, my mate's just had a baby. And the first thing she asked for (and got), when the sprog was settled etc, was a large glass of red wine.

Poor Rebecca had spent the 7 and a half months with an unbearable red wine craving (she didn't know she was pregnant at first).

She had no other food cravings, but you had to physically drag her past pubs and off licences (and this will horrify all you puritanical yanks - she occasionally succumbed. But then my mum succumbed to wine AND a daily spliff when she was pregnant with the three of us and we're all fabulous. Actually, she'd smoke it pure, or eat it and she claims its the main reason that all her labour's lasted less than half an hour.)

So forget tapioca, a good glass of burgundy is what you want when you get out of hospital. And a puppy... or is that just me?
