THanks everyone for your feedback about my

injuries. I had an amazing yoga class on Sunday with Ana

Forrest. I told her about my unstable sacrum and the

assault on the small muscles which support it and the

pelvis. She guided me deeply within using my breath and

abdomen to slowly release and strengthen the whole area.

Truly amazing. It was a difficult but effective

practice.<br><br>I've read Sarno's book. For me, the information stayed

at a conceptual level. I can only point to two

astanga teachers where just walking into a practice

session evoked my repressed feelings of fear and had them

flood to the surface. This is the actualization of

Sarno's concepts. Unfortunately I do not live near those

teachers and am alone with my practice.<br><br>All of this

helps me to reflect and realize the ultimate importance

of a truly gifted teacher and I am only beginning to

differentiate those from, as SEnor would say, the yoga

criminals.<br><br>THis is my path. And in a sick sort of way I hope my

injuries will stay with me so I can make the necessary

life changes and ultimately commit to a

teacher.<br><br>Yeshe,<br>(dudess)

O.K., so Sarno doesn't do it for you, and you

haven't got a regular teacher (yet). I'm happy that you

had a good session on Sunday; I hope that you have

many more, with the same teacher, or with any other

(or others)who can help you. It sure sounds like you

can overcome these problems.<br><br>"In a sick sort

of way I hope my injuries will stay with me.." As

the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for,

you will certainly get it. Are you sure that it is

about "necessary life changes" and committing to "a

teacher"? <br><br>I like to think that all the answers are

right there, waiting to be discovered, whereever you

are.
