Guest guest
Hi, all. Here's a puzzling question for those of you who have been practicing for a long time through thick and thin. I recently injured my left hand in a non-yoga-related incident and for now can't put any weight on my wrist.

Hopefully, all will be healed soon BUT . .. the question is, how do I practice during this time?

One answer, obviously, would be not at all since I can't do Sun Salutes or vinyasas between poses (No down dog, no chaturanga dandasana) But I am wondering if would it be of benefit to practice standing poses and then seated poses without the vinyasa? (Most of which is entirely possible with a modification here and there) To me, this feels better than not practicing, but I also don't want to do any harm to my developing practice by turning a dynamic one into a static one!

Please let me know your thoughts.

All the best,
Robyn
Guest guest
yeah...do standing poses till Govinda calls the cows home...join a bikram class...these and other options are far better than doing nothing!
