If they told you that, they are actually wrong because the legs are supposed to go around the sholders, then squeeze your sholders with your knees as you lower your chin to the floor. This could be why you are having problems. If you look at the picture of Sharath in Yoga Mala, you will see that his legs are around the upper part of his arms. A lot of arm and sholder and chest strength is needed for this pose which should be developing if you are practicing the primary series up to this point<br>Good Luck,<br>T.
