Guest guest
another newbie question...(i am a bit nervous about bringing this up)

being new to this practice nothing prepared me for the emotions that come along with the profuse sweat during my practice.

yesterday morning and again in class i had an extreme emotional response to certain postures. i am not even sure what it is that i am getting emotional about. it just happens.

when it happened the first time my teacher explained that she had not expected it in a gym setting. but it has happened on a regular basis since then. yesterday the sweat literally poured from me and the accompanying emotions were extreme...so i held on to it and did not let the emotions happen in class (bad enough that my profuse sweating gets noticed). the choked situation left me distant and neccessarily on the edge for the rest of the day...not pleasant. i noticed that i had a difficult time keeping balance in some postures and had residual aching after practice that i generally do not.

could someone talk to me about this? are there books i could/should read? am i not fit/ready for this practice?

thanks.

yasar
