Guest guest
I have two minor questions about poses for the knowledgable few who still deign to haunt this site.

1) In Prasarita Pado C, when you clasp hands behind your back, are your palms together or only fingers interlaced, palms apart? I was initially taught palms together, but I am seeing a lot more of the palms apart (which seems to make it easier to lower the hands toward the floor).

2) In Supta Padangusthasana, one of my favorite poses, is the foot of the "standing" leg pointed or flexed? Again, I have always been taught to keep the foot flexed, as if it really were a standing leg, but recently a student of a senior student told me to point the foot. And what about the leg you are pulling? Flexed foot or pointed?

Just wonderin'...

John, sorry to hear about big old Kia. I hope she'll be walking fine again soon. Keep us posted. After three sessions, Cassandra still has not responded to acupuncture so we got her fitted for wheels last weekend. She'll be rolling by Christmas (she'll be corgi hell on wheels) and I'll post a new shot of her. At least next Halloween I can take her out as Borg dog. Guest guest
Hi, this is in response to an old post by bandawoman. When you spin the palms open for prasarita paddotanasasna c do it so the thumbs are on top.
