I certainly make no claim to be among any

"knowledgeable few", but I can pass on what I have been taught

by members of that elite band. Which is that the

correct way is actually with the palms of the hands

turned to face outwards, so that it is the thumbs that

end up touching the floor (in some hypothetical

far-distant future, in my case).<br><br>I first learned this

from Lino Miele, and it is what Guruji was teaching on

his summer tour.
