Guest guest
Thanks, Dani, for sharing your experience. I am a newbie, but I totally agree with you on the lifting of kids theory! Mine are 1 and 3. I also have previous strength from swimming and weight lifting, so the upper body stuff is easier for me than for most perhaps. And I thought my abs were pretty strong too, but now I am so humbled and workin' on the bandas. Geez, forget the Ab Slide or the Torso Track, all the American public needs is yoga! Looking forward to sharing my progress with you all - I am so motivated by you all...Sandy
Guest guest
The thing with being humbled and shaken off your high horse happens again and again....a friend faxed me the third series and I thought, cool, heaps of upper body strength stuff.....until I tried some of the poses, coming down from three-point headstand into these wild balancing poses, and it's so much more than strong arms. It's bandas, abs, leg strength and flexibility, hips opening....hat off to all third series practitioners.
