Thanks, Dani, for sharing your experience. I am a

newbie, but I totally agree with you on the lifting of

kids theory! Mine are 1 and 3. I also have previous

strength from swimming and weight lifting, so the upper

body stuff is easier for me than for most perhaps. And

I thought my abs were pretty strong too, but now I

am so humbled and workin' on the bandas. Geez,

forget the Ab Slide or the Torso Track, all the American

public needs is yoga! Looking forward to sharing my

progress with you all - I am so motivated by you

The thing with being humbled and shaken off your

high horse happens again and again....a friend faxed

me the third series and I thought, cool, heaps of

upper body strength stuff.....until I tried some of the

poses, coming down from three-point headstand into these

wild balancing poses, and it's so much more than

strong arms. It's bandas, abs, leg strength and

flexibility, hips opening....hat off to all third series

practitioners.
