Guest guest
Okie-fella -- You asked a few million posts ago if I was feeling any of the fabled joint-loosening effects of pregnancy, but I have to admit that due to fatigue I've only practiced twice in the last twelve days and my joints (particularly right hip) are not particularly improving. So if anyone's thinking of getting pregnant just to improve their practice, think again.

I've had brief e-mail conversations with the famous Dena of Australia who had a baby last summer. She was practicing advanced B series in her second trimester, and she has found that she has not exactly been able to pick up where she left off before the baby came. But I also have the distinct impression that she couldn't care less.
Guest guest
Edenlotus - I'm borrowing my husband's (takeitup200) spot as I wanted to share some encouragement during your pregnancy and early years with the babe. My first pregnancy was similar to yours during tri #1 - I felt tired! During the 2nd tri I felt absolutely great and swam/worked full-time/did yoga/rode my horse- everything I wanted. In the middle of the 3rd trimester my activities came to a complete stop due to pre-term complications. That was a big shock to my active lifestyle. Then when the baby arrived I was consumed with taking care of him - nursing every 2-4 hours 24 hours/day etc, so I didn't find time or energy to do much in my "spare time". We now have two children, 2 & 4 and they are much less demanding so it is easier to find time for yoga and other things I want to do. Enjoy this time, for me it has been a wonderful period of my life. Don't discourage if your efforts are refocused and you are limited in the coming months!
