(I'm not claiming to be LouLou here - would never

presume such a thing - but she hasn't replied, and I'm a

Brit too have done workshops with JS, so

....)<br><br>Penzance is 5 or 6 hours by train from London - see

"Timetables" on <a href=http://www.railtrack.co.uk

target=new>http://www.railtrack.co.uk</a><br><br>I expect it

would probably be a bit longer by car. You really don't

want a car in central London, it's a nightmare. So is

any European capital city (Paris, Brussels -

horrible!) - not even New York compares. But on the other

hand, a car would be really handy for going sightseeing

in Cornwall, which is a very beautiful place. Car

hire is expensive in the UK.<br><br>I haven't studied

extensively with John Scott but I've done a couple of

workshops with him. One of my first teachers was also a

student of his. He's a really good teacher. Quite stern

and rigorous - not somebody to study with if you want

to come away with a warm, cosy, "I'm such a cool

yogi" feeling. (Try Danny P for that). But you're a

doctor so I expect you also respond well to coming away

from lessons with an "oh my god, I've got so much to

learn" feeling. The workshops I did were led classes,

but I expect what you would get in Penzance would be

some of the purest Mysore-style teaching outside

Mysore itself.<br><br>I assume you've seen John's

website at <a href=http://www.ashtanga.co.uk

40 minutes outside london. <br><br>But I did get the Scott book about 6 weeks

ago. Didn't wanna rub your noses in it.
