Guest guest
......oops, hadn't quite finished!

I did this about a month ago (a workshop in a too cold studio was the cause - and some pretty forceful adjustments by a teacher I wasn't used to) and it's still coming & going - it's not a bad pull but paschimattasana is a whole new ball game as are nearly all of the primary sitting asanas.

I'm not sure whether to carry on doing an unbalanced practice (taking it easy on the left side)or whether to really ease off all round. I don't want to make matters worse as I'm off to Kerala end of Jan for 3 weeks of ashtanga - although the heat over there will probably do loads of good anyway!

More of your invaluable advice and experience would be appreciated.

Thanks guys

Guest guest
I've had a pulled hamstring twice in a row, and the advice I was given is just keep practising, and go to your current limit. It's all about playing with your edge, and if your edge changes, change the game rules! It's been agonizing at times, but it's all healing up quite well.
