Guest guest Posted December 21, 2000 Report Share Posted December 21, 2000 The Schiffman vid I use is Ali McGraw's Yoga Mind and Body. I posted on it a long long time ago. It's not ashtanga BUT it is the most professionally made "leisure`' video I've ever seen. It was shot on film in the white sands desert and it looks fantastic - total quality, every shot beautifully framed and lit. Also, they mixed the ujjaayi breathe in with the music (good stuff, mostly dead can dance) so it sounds excellent as well. AND, the people... wow; Ali (wearing a rather embarrassingly 80's unitard), and some amazing looking females - one of, shall we say, advanced years, and the MOST stunning body beautiful black guy I have ever seen. I'm getting a little warm just thinking about him... <br><br>I WAS going to make a similar quality ashtanga video, because (and don;t all scream at me) I really find the Swenson ones a bit painful. From a professional's point of view, they are pitifully produced and directed... but he seems a lovely geezer.<br><br>I'm getting the Freeman one for Christmas and am keeping my fingers crossed that it lives up to my ridiculous visual standards.
