Guest guest
mr skull (sorry but Kapalabhati is just too hard to type), <br>i see from the article you referenced that you found noah and kimberly's website. i think of the US teachers that i have seen or know about, and i don't know that many, you would probably most identify with these two. they are two of the nicest and kindest people you could ever hope to meet. and very serious about their yoga. i saw them at the carlsbad workshop for guruji in 8-00. amazing ability both of them. see all my gaga postings from late 8-00. most of my ooh and ahh comments were about them. i was lucky enough to be able to talk with them both at the party that was given. noah is as unpretentious and low key a person as you could ever hope to meet. i tried to make party conversation with him by asking how he was finding the business aspect of running an ashtanga teaching site. he laughed at the notion that what he was doing was a business. kimberly is very personable and outgoing. she spent a lot of time with my wife on indian cooking, etc. neither of them seemed above enjoying interaction with us beginners (not a common trait i might add). i also was lucky to meet several people from their shala at the workshop. i gathered that the approach there is quite pure and fundamental in the SKPJ tradition as you describe it. the students i met were all very nice and skilled and seemed to have immense respect for their teachers. so if you ever get out our way, give their place a start
