Guest guest
I think they were just doing a sequence of up dog, down dog and caturanga, but correct me if I'm wrong, it was a long time ago.

I was wondering about the same thing a month or so ago. I have a copy so I checked it out. I went back for a closer look before replying.

The scene is only about 35 seconds long, not counting the "shower scenes" that surround it. They seem to be mainly doing upward dog and downward dog, but they do some interesting moves, kind of pivoting around on the feet and also sticking one leg out to the side. They finish in upward dog (but without rolling the feet over), reciting "Prison, monastery, cloister, cave.." Probably a routine they made up. The film was made in 1978, so not too many people knew about Ashtanga yoga.

Super cool film, if anyone hasn't seen it. You may want to watch it alone, its heavy-duty.
