I own three of them, which I deploy for Ashtanga

practice also. The first is a fashionable Italian ALESSI

kitchen clock in brilliant red plastic, the other one is

a granny-style metal timer from Sweden, and the

third is a clock made entirely of recycled aluminium

(all work mechanically, no batteries).

I am

still an Ashtanga fledgling (I started 5 months ago)

slaving my way through Yoga Chikitsa. I do yoga for more

than 1 hour only on weekends, and 60 minutes during

the week, slogging Ashtanga until the ring of my

timer. Must be a softer version of nazi yoga.
