Guest guest Posted January 3, 2001 Report Share Posted January 3, 2001 i am learning this. the desire to stop weight training is happening, but there is a fear associated with stopping something and giving up an image of myself that i have been attached to for a long time...<br><br>my experience is that the bulky showey muscles built up by weight training are in the way when i want to do certain asanas. many of the bound postures are impossible when the arms and legs are too thick with chunky muscles. i am learning that i am emotionally attached to bulk, perhaps in an unhealthy way. so i am becoming thoughtful about it at this point and ready to follow what "comes naturally."<br><br>thanks,<br><br>yasar Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
