I hope some of you weren't hanging out lookin' for me! Sorry! I pulled something in my shoulder (not during yoga) and I am still hurting. I felt it was best to rest and hit the Carlsbad outlet mall instead! I DID get to go to Bryan Kest's class up in Santa Monica, before the shoulder pull, and loved it. I know some of you here probably don't think too highly of him because he is not "approved" by the guru (or am I ill informed?) but I think how he westernizes astanga is terrific. He really is good and he makes you feel great about yourself. He is an amazing coach. ...Anyway, I thought for you ladies living in SD, I would share some of my yoga apparel finds in your area! Are you aware of the Weekend Exercise Co. wharehouse store in LaJolla?? You must go. Dirt cheap, first quality and great colors and fabrics for yoga. Also, how about the store Ooh La La at the Calsbad Outlet Mall? OK, it is not dirt cheap but they have very cool brands of stretch/workout wear. If you want more scoop, let me know and we can email privately so as not to go too far off topic! Anyway, sorry to have missed meeting a few of you - I was SO looing forward to it, but I am in pain! Tim's classes have been very crowded over the holiday season, it seemed to be a bit less crowded today and we did not have to do 12 backbends for the months of the new year. There are good discussions going on on both. The other board is not "cliqueish", or exclusive, there's no "nice" requirement. Just a different format, different folks hang out and converse there. I had actually asked whether you showed up in class, whether the post-class get together happened, was informed it did not. (see the "anti-tribute to the search function" thread in the "general discussion" forum, the one at the top.) <br><br>Anyway, let me know if you have any other SD info, at the above address.
