Guest guest Posted January 8, 2001 Report Share Posted January 8, 2001 <..to the other message board (where they will be lost forever in the maze of categoris and subcategories and cheery greetings><br><br>You forgot about the highly opininated (eerily demonic) 'smarties' floating around...<br><br>I tried to navigate through the maze of verbage on the 'other site' and came across a message which made reference to several 'chosen' members of the 'old' site who were being sent E-Mails to solicit their membership on the new site.<br> <br>Isn't the idea of an Ashtanga club meant to unite any and all practitioners of this wonderful practice, regardless of their opinions, personalities, hangups (or lack thereof) in order to experience the (unfiltered) Ashtanga community ? Hear new ideas ?Make our own decisions on which ideas to embrace?<br><br>As a long time enthusiastic observer of the clubs posts, I applaud those of you to chose to stay in touch with the 'real..unadulterated ashtanga club'...... which lets us all be who we are.<br><br>Back to the trenches!!! Their posts are counted and many have hundreds! <br><br> Now we have choices in ashtanga clubs. It's like Jivamukti, Bryan Kest, or yoga shala. Some of us like glam in our yoga, some want exercise and aren't ready to get spiritual, some want to do Mysore practice. I'm grateful to at least have a choice.
