Guest guest Posted January 10, 2001 Report Share Posted January 10, 2001 David Swenson says he was a Hare Krishna for several years, and is pretty much guaranteed to tell funny stories about it if you ever go to one of his workshops.<br><br>(Oh, and somebody was speculating a little while ago abut whether Takeitup_2000 is David Swenson. Guest guest Posted January 10, 2001 Report Share Posted January 10, 2001 UncS was never a Krishna, but i've been to quite a few Sunday kirtans and lovefeasts over the last 20 or so years, and so I've dozens of great stories just the same. I don't doubt that Swenson or Freeman, being former insiders, can tell some amazingly hilarious (and sometimes sad) tales of american vaishnava life.
