Guest guest
Jois doesn't appear in the film. Iyengar does. It is available a number of Yoga schools in the US. Check earlier posts on the subject.
Guest guest
Thanks for replying to my message from July, 1999. The source for the video was later revealed on this forum: http://www.iyisf.org
I have been waiting for many months to receive the copy I ordered. They say it is on back order and the place that is in charge of duplicating the tapes moved so they are behind. No telling when they will get around to running some copies off. They say they have a bunch of orders for it.

Guest guest
Thanks for replying to my post from 1999. If you keep reading the archives, this subject comes up again later and El Senor finally reveals to everyone (in post 1780) where this video can be found. It is available for $25.00 from the Iyengar Institute of San Francisco. http://www.iyisf.org (look on the bookstore page)
This revelation resulted in a flood of orders and most people (including me) then had to wait many months for them to restock the item. I never got around to adding the info to my yoga videos page (and have done so today). It is in fact quite worth seeing. Some very advanced asana practice going on there. KP Jois does not appear in the video. I don't know if he was filmed and the Iyengar people cut him out or if this was just some misinformation that was passed along in the YJ article. Would be interesting to know what's up with that. Anyway, thanks for your offer and interest.
