Guest guest
I am new to ashtanga - only been practicing since 12-31-00. I am looking for people that I can exchange stories and advice with. For instance, how can I keep my hands from slipping in downward dog? Guest guest
if your hands are dry and slipping on your mat, then your yoga mat is no good at all. If your hands are fairly sweaty and slipping, then I'd suggest finding a yogaRUG to place over your sticky mat. Most yogis use these rugs because most mats just won't provide adequate grip once the sweat starts coming down. The rugs, however, provide more grip the wetter they get.
