Guest guest
A visit to Mysore would be a great way to learn it the traditional way, and it has been said that guruji welcomes beginners. If you want to learn it the way it is taught in Mysore (but do not wish to travel there right now) you could study with one of the authorized or certified teachers near you (they are listed on this site) by going to their Mysore -style classes.
If you say where you live we could mention who the most traditional teacher nearest you is. Guest guest
The listing under 'classes' on the ashtanga website (www.ashtanga.com)(i'm sure you know it) lists an e-mail address :
ashtanga_singapore

(Furthermore the listing just above it says Rolf Naujokat/Kirsten Berg is currently in Singapore except for Jan Feb March when they'll be in mysore(if it is still up to date). Their e-mail is listed as kersjeb)
