Guest guest
You are asking me why isn't meditation alone enough for me? this question pozels me too, ..actually I'm disobeying, because I believing in keeping the body fit also...It is a full circle, though: I was introduced to hatha yoga at the age of 10, later I read many books about yoga and got interested in the higher realms; radja and others. Than met Yogi Bhajan, who made me realise the power of kundalini, or chi, but practicing only that left a void in me; in body and soul. I needed the slower hatha yoga and I think the asthanga is an advanced form of that, body is all important: it is truly the the tempe of god. Trough further searching (some do to the e affect of turbans LOL) I arrived to surat shabd yoga. And that was that, there is no further explanation, because to understand the significant effect of a living master can not be explained.
