Guest guest
actually your statement re:

>>Idiots like BBB and numerous others have repeated the story of SPJ finding the Yoga Kurunta, it being in bad condition, it being lost, etc...

is wrong in regards to BBB.

Although I can't recall what she said about it in her first book- in her second book Beyond Power Yoga on page 42, 43 she discusses this subject - an excerpt:

"One time, right before my book was completed, in the fall of 1993, I did sit down with him (KPJ) and say 'Okay, tell me about this so-called manuscript. Is there one? Where is it?' He smiled and looked at me and said, 'Ooooh, teacher saying slokas(verses), I writing.' That was it! His wife affectionately called Ama by her husband's longtime students, looked over and laughed and said 'No no manuscript!' There is no question that good ol Western scientific proof of the existence of a manuscript that gave us this system of series of yoga asanas simply does not exist. At least, if it does, I don't know about it yet."
whatever you think about BBB, that second book is not an ashtanga book - its a mix of poses with an ashtanga base but i cant recall anytime she claims it as ashtanga.

The history of Ashtanga's roots are very interesting to me and as I spend the 6 days a week avg. practicing it, I want to know more - but, i continue to be wayyyyyyy more fascinated on how supposedly dedicated practitioners can freely call others idiots, bitchboys, etc even though they are certain they are right and it's all in the name of preserving the legacy of Ashtanga.

from Yoga Mala page 18
Ahimsa- ahimsa means not causing injury to anyone including animals in any form, at any time, or for any reason , in word thought or deed....

Satya - What is satya. Satya is truthfullness. One should always tell the truth in thought, word, and deed. The truth must be pleasant to others, an unpleasant truth should not be uttered....

perhaps if you can stick your legs behind your head you don't have to worry about that?
