Guest guest
I am considering buying the Miele astanga book..I heard it was the book to have) I now see that there is a video by him as well. I was trying to find out which one is better to have. Is there anyone who can weigh in and tell me about their experiences with either? I have the primary series video by david swenson. Thanks for the help Carl

Guest guest
Are you looking for a book from which to learn the series? If you are, the best one around for that purpose is John Scott's book, available from Amazon.uk ( <a href=http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1856751813/o/qid=982265700/sr=8-1/\ 202-2987347-6737432 target=new>http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1856751813/o/qid=982265700/s\ r=8-1/202-2 987347-6737432 ).

The Miele book has information on benefits of the poses, which is not really in the Scott book, as well as a section on Pranayama, which I've not seen in any of the other Ashtanga "must have" books. (the latest, 4th edition, anyway. it was posted here last month that the pranayama info was not it earlier editions.)
