Guest guest
I would suggest doing daily practice and not doing quite as much. I'm assuming that you go through all of primary. Give yourself enough time in savasana. Do you have a teacher?
Guest guest
This happened to me sometimes when I first started going to yoga classes (which was some time before I discovered ashtanga). Everybody else would be going on about how great yoga made them feel, and I would be ready to check into a clinic. But, the teachers would talk about toxins being released, and I knew that there must be a terrific buildup of bad stuff in my body to get rid of, so I just concluded that it was working.
It stopped happening after a few months of regular classes.

Perhaps you will have a similar experience. Guest guest
I also had the same problem at the beginning of my practice...and it continued until I started more regular practice and I took enough time in savasana. I now practice every day and make sure to get ample savasana time. That means that when I practice for 90 minutes, I take at least 10-15 minutes for savasana. But now, I, too, feel the bliss everyone had told me about!

hope this helps

namaste,

lauren
