Guest guest
In the beginning is the breath: I inhale, then I exhale, arranging my body into samasthitih, and gaze down at my nose.<br><br>Then, I jump through all the 9 vinyasas of sun salute A - and don't forget to synchronize breath with movement, and look at the nose, and the thumbs, the third eye and...whew, I am in samasthitih again. I feel a little warmer already, and now...Now what?? Do I have to repeat sun A for another 4 times before proceeding to sun B, or may I alternate between the two? Since this is what I am doing: I do one sun A first, then one sun B, then the 2nd sun A followed by sun B no. 2, and so on , until I've returned to samasthitih in the suns 10 X all together. Would KPJ approve?? Or is the way I alternate between the two suns wrong?
Guest guest
> Or is the way I alternate between the two suns wrong? <br><br>'fraid so. The correct way is 5 A then 5 B. Don't ask me why because I don't know, but if it's good enough for KPJ it's good enough for me.

Guest guest
I look at A as a general warmup (bodily and mentally) for B. Basically, I see A as a means of making a safer transition to B, B the means for a safe transition to the other asanas of the series as we go along, etc.
