I'm a scientist with a background in physics and you would probably label me as a sceptic. Universe has never made a dull impression on me, quite the contrary. Guest guest Posted March 10, 2001 Report Share Posted March 10, 2001 I am also not superstitious, however the noetic sciences require a different set of principles than the material sciences.<br><br>belief that consciousness and life is the result of material processes is one of the most pernicious of myths, which like the scientific belief that the earth was flat will eventually be disproved.<br><br>Why dont you answer the point about the statistical survey? Guest guest Posted March 10, 2001 Report Share Posted March 10, 2001 Simply put, there is no evidence that backs up the claim that the moon affects human behavior in any way, shape, or form.<br><br>Neither is there any evidence to suggest that not believing in the irrational leads to "a dry and disatisying experience of life."<br><br>Life itself is a Wonder.
