Guest guest
I LOVE my Manduka mat, although I use a Mysore rug on top of it because I prefer cotton to rubber under my feet. The Manduka mat is very thick and supportive for the joints, and is moderately sticky. It's a true joy for floor poses and inversions. I've heard stories of the rubber breaking down, but my mat has been in perfect shape with pretty heavy use (the dogs like to lie on it too!!) In fact, the only REAL downsides to the Manduka are the price (worth it if you can afford it) and the weight. IF you carry your mat a lot to classes where you have to walk some distance, they can be a bit cumbersome. I have yet to invest in the special bag Manduka makes . . . but it would probably be a good idea if you carry your mat around a lot.

YMMMV, of course.

All the best,
Robyn
