Guest guest
HI rishi,

I don't know of any astanga-yoga teachers in Bombay, sorry (I guess it's easier to do iyengar yoga there, since B.K.S. Iyengar comes regularly from Pune to Bombay to teach classes - or at least he used to do so).

But if you're searching for a good book on astanga yoga, take a look at http://www.ashtanga.com/resources.html .

"Yoga Mala" by Sri K Pattabhi Jois is the classic on astanga yoga.
"Astanga Yoga" by Lino Miele has a good section on pranayama.
John Scott's "Ashtanga Yoga", which you can order at http://www.amazon.co.uk , should be your first choice though, since it's the best book currently available to learn astanga yoga from.
David Swenson's book "The Practice Manual" is interesting, but not very helpful if you don't have his videos.

Good luck. Guest guest
There are no ashtanga yoga teachers in Bombay. There is however a very highly recommended Iyengar Yoga teacher in Bombay called Jawahar. Check out the Iyengar Yoga site for more information or ask some Iyengar person, good luck.
