Maybe I am unable to understand FBL's "sense of

humour" , and I don't think that I will ever be able to

do so (besides, my English is not that good, because

I am not a native English speaker & I need the help

of a dictionary to post here). Fact is that I have

not followed much of the discussions on this board

recently. One post by the self-proclaimed "lady" truly made

me feel very bad, and when I feel bad, I tend to

become quite emotional; and then I post things I wish I

would never have done so. On second thought, it was

foolish of me to give way to a figure from whom I cannot

learn anything, so the best way to deal with her & her

insults is simply to ignore everything she posts

here.<br><br>Sincerely, I am tired of firing back at every perceived

offense, so I have decided to concentrate only on those

posts that I feel I can learn

from.<br><br>Unfortunately so far, you happen to belong to those individuals

who apparently have nothing useful to say, and if you

continue to call me "SS", be sure that I will stop reading

your posts altogether, too. <br><br>Recently however,

among the usual crap which litters this board, I've

read some truly great messages (not by you & not by

the "lady" either), which convinced me that it's

still worthwhile to be here.<br><br>Try yourself

posting something more helpful next time than the message

variation/abbreviation you prefer),<br><br>I actually thought you might

find it useful to know what FBL was talking about and

what you admittedly over-reacted to (especially since

her post was not even directed toward you).

<br><br>As far as not appreciating being regularly taken to

task, I can see that, but to a certain degree you have

to sleep in the bed you have made for

yourself.<br><br>My question as to why you returned was not posed so

as to imply that you should not have. Was just

curious what about the place was attracing you, given

your prior post expressing your digust with the

interactions here. There are some pearls here, true, but

sometimes it's hard to know if it's worth it.<br><br>I have

to say, that i have not had much useful info to pass

on--so I have not posted much. I did make an honest

effort to pass on to you that you were coming across

negatively, perhaps inadvertantly, in many of your posts. As

to whether or not you or anyone else reads my posts,

well, to be honest, it doesn't matter. I will try to

not post when I don't have anything helpful to pass

on. Hope you adopt the same approach. Important to

remember that what you or I feel is helpful or useful may

not be so to those reading our posts.

I am finding that this board, apart from being a

source of "information" (sometimes semmingly useful,

often questionable), is an interesting mirror of the

self. I write something, trying to be sincere, funny,

casual, or whatever -- and then, after it is posted,

often find myself wishing that I had either said

something different, or nothing. But it is all there, in

this seemingly permanent form, nothing I<br>can do

about it. Just like life (if I can get heavy here for a

second).<br><br>Recently I have actually seen a couple of things about

myself that I might not have realized except by being

critical of my own "contributions" here.
