Guest guest
Hi everyone,

It seems I might be going to UNC-Chapel Hill in the fall. Does anyone know of a good yoga studio as close to that university as possible. Self practice with adjustments (even if I know lead classes are good for me once in a while I really prefer self practice), mysore-style, primary series.

Thanks for your help with this...this is really my greatest concern besides the academic situation.
Anni
Guest guest
Congratulations on your choice of school! UNC -- my doctoral alma mater -- is a laid-back but very good place. Chapel Hill -- pretty much my hometown -- although a bit overdevloped, still radiates peace and light.

Check out Triangle Yoga:

http://www.triangleyoga.com

which is within easy walking distance from Franklin Street (the main drag) and the UNC campus itself.

Ashtanga does not seem to be very intensively practiced in the Chapel Hill area, but I think some of the clases are Mysore-style.

Peace and Good,
Homer
