April Fools' day

Hello,<br><br>Today is April Fools' Day, and my

trick of the day is to get rid of the name "shining

skull" I once used here, of which I've had enough (truly

enough!) - especially after the soap opera with

funkybadlady. Anyway, "shining skull" is the English name for a

pranayama technique I don't practise anymore since I've

started with astanga yoga, so it doesn't make sense

anymore. From now on, the new name adorning my posts has

nothing to do with yoga at all. Pinky and Perky were two

pig puppets which used to be popular on British

television in the 1950's & 60's & which are remembered esp.

for singing songs in high squeaky voices. That's

that.<br><br>"Shining skull" was a fledgling in the practice of astanga

yoga with correspondingly confused ideas. Lately

however, I've gained more clarity in my own practice, & I

think I can say I am on the right track now, practising

astanga every day save on new and full moon.<br><br>New

times, new name. However, I've decided at least for now,

to keep the pirates' flag on my profile after all. I

once chose it because it suited to my name & because I

didn't want to have <br>the usual yoga motif on my

profile. Besides, I like pirates' flags.
