One is a sadhana (a spiritual practice) and the other is a garnish."<br><br>I think if I were to do whatever I felt like, then it would just be playing around with asanas rather than Yoga. I think that this is a huge part of Ashtanga, not giving in to Big Ego's demand, "I want to do it My way." <br><br>Even if you don't feel like practicing every day, you do it anyway. Even if you don't feel like doing 5 boats, you do it. Tapas. Then the practice is really transformative, rather than just entertainment.
