Guest guest
cont'd>>>>>

intelligent censure -- thanks again. we are one. somehow risking specious accusations of "off-topic-ness" doesn't seem such a formidable ramification when one is well aware of the ultimate result of dehumanization and harassment.

predictably, after three weeks of gay bashing and baiting, you and various other anonymous screen names are now attempting to claim that i swooped in to speak of gay issues. never happened, wouldn't occur to me, not my thing. you and your friends can keep repeating the lie, but it is still a lie. i am just a yogi, not a political activist.

as i far as i can tell my first post here (3/4) was about the use of mantras as described by patanjali. just previous and subsequent to that time the bulk of the messages here comprised a debate as to how much money sri jois should be making, who should be allowed to study with him, etc. there was an ongoing discussion of hemmorrhoids, "big-assed" yoga teachers, and oh yes, screwgee informed everyone that the upbringing of "her generation" was conservative, hence her disapproval of that "flambouyant character" david life and his "gender bending" outfits, and of "defacing" the body with tattoos.

in the midst of this my posts were in the main about my understanding of the yoga sutras as they applied to on-topic messages here. noticed you, s.s., were gratuitously argumentative early on.

i made the lighthearted comment in the midst of a discussion of internet abbreviations that whenever i saw someone use the redundant IMO i imagined the writer to be saying "in my orifice" especially if he or she were disagreeable. screwgee's response gratuitously trashed gay men in a completely non sequitur snipe on 3/21. i noted the comment, but declined to respond more than once. you and a gang of other courageous anonymous screen names continued the attacks.

several lovely, intelligent people here issued their disapproval of your execrable behavior, apologized to me for you in email, and asked that i not leave the club, citing previous confligrations of evil by questionable entities here.

a no-brainer really. happy to stay and put up with it 'til the cows come home. in my life i have little to fear personally from gay bashers -- nothing at all really. community, physical presence, experience, and karma blessing me with knowledge of the true Self through a sadhana including practice of the ashtanga seem to preclude any problem. it is for those "queers" blessed with "flambouyance" and a penchant for "gender-bending" that i calmly must insist, yet again, that you and your cohorts refrain from any further gay baiting and bashing.
