Lu, Shining Skull,<br><br>neither BBBs nor John

Scotts book will prevent a beginner from hurting himself

(or herself).<br>Even in our beloved sun salutations

there is enough risk to injure yourself (so many selfs

here).<br>For example up dog: if you don't apply your bandhas,

use your arms and legs, ... there is danger to hurt

your lower back.<br><br>But what is the solution

?<br><br>If you really don't have a teacher nearby, you

should progress very carefully, as learning any kind of

Hatha Yoga from a book correctly is not easy.<br>Or

maybe you can go to a Sivananda Class first and study

savasana intensively to be prepared for anything

else.<br><br>"Breath well, and Practise well" (David Swenson)

Thanks for the beginning lessons!

I am so busy with the physical aspects of my life at this moment that I am

planning to wait for a few days to start the first exercises so that I can

totally focus on them!

Just wanted to take the time to say thanks!

:)
