Guest guest Posted April 12, 2001 Report Share Posted April 12, 2001 Has anyone tried taking tumeric for its proported effect of increasing flexibility? Any noticible difference? I've been taking it for about 5 weeks now, and have noticied marked changes in my ability to enter certain asanas, and deepen my movement into others. This after 2 years of 5x per week practice with slow, but steady advancement. Tempting to attribute some of the improvement to the spice, but may just as well be a placebo effect... Guest guest Posted April 12, 2001 Report Share Posted April 12, 2001 Turmeric is a well known anti-inflamatory and is the basic ingredient in curry powder. Many arthritics take turmeric in capsule form and find noticable relief.
