Has anyone tried taking tumeric for its proported

effect of increasing flexibility? Any noticible

difference? I've been taking it for about 5 weeks now, and

have noticied marked changes in my ability to enter

certain asanas, and deepen my movement into others. This

after 2 years of 5x per week practice with slow, but

steady advancement. Tempting to attribute some of the

improvement to the spice, but may just as well be a placebo

effect... Anyone else have experience with this?

Turmeric is a well known anti-inflamatory and is

the basic ingredient in curry powder. Many arthritics

take turmeric in capsule form and find noticable

relief. I have heard no evidence that it increases

flexibility. <br><br>FBL
