Guest guest
Alan,
Thanks for the link. I have two questions right now. What is an Ayanansh? And, what is a horary number? After I got the chart printed out, I did the query for specific areas such as work, money, relationships, etc. and it asked me to pick a number between 1 and I think 125 or something. I just picked one out of the air and I got a glowing reading. Then I thought just for fun, I'll do the same thing again with another number and I got a terrible reading. Realizing that this is completely impersonal and on the internet and cannot be accurate entirely, it still seemed really random to me. So if it is not asking too much, could you explain what these things are?
Thanks,
FBL

PS Tshamoya. My chart still came out water with hardly any earth at all although I don't know how to read these charts yet as I do know fairly well how to read western charts. Guest guest
The ayanamsha is the difference between the tropical (western) and the sidereal (eastern) zodiac. There are slight to major differences between systems, but Indian astrologers generally to Lahiri's values. Lahiris values are based on the position of the star Spica.

The horary number is particular to a complex but very accurate system by Krishnamurti. Prashna, or horary questions and charts should only be done once and for the moment the question is asked. You will get confusing and conflicting answers if you do multiple charts and questions.
