Guest guest
Once again we have degenerated into lashing out at one another with insults because of misunderstandings, misperceptions and/or the unwillingness (or lack of grace) to "let go". I suppose I have a choice as to what I choose to read...

Back to the topic of Astanga...I had a wonderful practice yesterday...I had a lead class instead of usual "Mysore style"(self-practice with adjustments). It was nice because I get to see where I am slacking off in asanas that are esp. difficult for me. I am not practicing today (I rest on Saturdays) which is probably wise because I am noticing some back pain. I am having some discomfort in the upper lumbar spine and also at the base of my spine near the beginning of the tailbone. I suspect the lower back is a result of forgetting uddiyana bandha or not balancing properly on my sitz bones in seated poses and navasana. I don't know what is causing the upper lumbar stuff. Feels like something is out of place. I haven't figured out yet what I did to cause it and how to correct it. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
