Guest guest
I have not met her and don't have any specific knowledge about her courses. But since you are seeking advice... From reading about her on her website, and looking at the course descriptions, she seems to be a heavy duty teacher of serious asana practice. If you have the notion and the opportunity - go for it! If your main concern is a good base for a strict Ashtanga practice, why not study with Ashtanga teachers instead? But actually I am of the opinion that the more you study various different types of yoga and other disciplines, the more understanding you will have of Ashtanga yoga. More experience for a broader perspective. Also, I always think the particular qualities of a teacher are more important than the type of yoga they are teaching.
Maybe someone here knows more about her? She seems very interesting.
http://www.forrestyoga.com
