Guest guest
Thanks for the article but now 'm not sure if its a good idea to go to Pattabhi Jois's school.
I got very disappointed with what i saw in the article. It's very sad to realise that the truth, that we seek for doesn't really exists... Human being will always be human being. It's very easy to fall into tentations: money and luxury...even the masters,THEREIS nobody perfect!
The King is naked...
Guest guest
It wouldn't be wise to take the opinion of a writer that obviously has no background in the science of Ashtanga. It sounds like the writer has a bias against hard work and dedication and is the perfect example of a yoga tourist. :-)

If one has had the honor of getting to know this man, you'd realize that he can spot a yoga tourist as soon as you walk in the door. If your intention is to vacation with Guruji, think again. He's devoted his life to his guru and his science so he has little time to baby those unfamiliar with his craft. Learn Ashtanga, study the Sutras and see if it rings true to you. If it does, you will not be bothered by the opinions of the misinformed or culturally biased.

Many blessings, Namaste,
Nada
