Guruji's forehead markings

Hi!<br><br>Can any kind soul remind me about the

difference between Guruji's horizontal forehead markings,

and Krishnamacharya's verticle ones, for

example?<br><br>I remember that it has something to do with which

Hindu God they worship primarily.<br><br>Thanks in

advance!<br><br>-jg.

The horizontal forehead markings denote a shaiva, an adherent of shaivism and a

devotee of Shiva. The vertical forehead markings show a vaishnava, an adherent

of vaishnavism and a devotee of Vishnu.
