Guest guest
I just visited Lino Miele's voluminous website in search of some information on Sri Jois' world tour 2001. I didnt't find any, but in his resources section I saw a brand-new video, in which, according to the info on the site, "Lino Miele and his teacher-colleagues encourage Ashtanga-yoga students to face and overcome the accustomed boundaries of body and mind.":

http://www.astanga.it/Page7/page7uk.html .

I also spotted two new pictures Lino has added to his site, the photographic quality of which is quite impressive:

http://www.astanga.it/Page4/page4uk.html (Sharat exercising upside down in a yard),
http://www.astanga.it/Page5/page5uk.html (a beaming Guruji standing in a door-frame under a portrait of himself in his younger days). Guest guest
The video "Askelia Joogatiellä" (translates to Steps on the Path of Yoga) was just aired on one of the Finnish national tv networks and it is quite cool.

It is not a video about asanas and whatnot but more about the inner qualities of Yoga.

The video was shot during a two week Astanga summer retreat in Finland and you can sense the magickal atmosphere that these retreats have, just by watching the tape.

Most of the footage centers on Lino and we hear a lot about his insights on yoga. Also, Gwendoline Hunt and Tina Pizzimenti are interviewed. There are also quite a lot of footage from the actual asana practise in the shala and in the nature! Also some pranayama and meditation pieces are shown.

A groovy video all in all. But if you're looking for an asana guide avoid this like the taxes, but if you are ready for a taste of real Yoga then check this baby out.
