Guest guest
Tshamoya and anyone else who knows something about vegan and raw food nutrition:

I am really curious... Does spirulina really work? Does it really do all the great things people say it does? Because I am getting very frustrated and beginning to have my doubts about it's effectiveness - I've been using it everyday for a little over a year now and I'm still an asshole.

FBL
Guest guest
i'm with you.

Cannot say that i have surety about any supplement. In fact i deeply resent swallowing anything that is not food in realfood form - but have forced myself upon occasion. I take calcium right now- hate it, but can see how i sleep better from it and am worried about my bones. I have never used spirulina for any length of time. I do use chlorella on and off. And people swear by Blue green algae.
I can say that i have experienced definite and marked changes in mood and wellbeing the times my diet has been purest and rawest full of fresh greens and green juices (nevermind how easy the flexible aspect of yoga is then). That's about as much as i know for sure. This diet is said to cure the insane so i was really able to measure its worth. I liked people better when on it.

I have heard that one's body does not like keeping getting concentrated power foods continuously -a few days on a few days off is best.

I suspect the best diet is eating little.

(dealing with the a-hole is a whole additional but complimentary beliefsystem of cleansing)
